1. The service
WorkforceOS is provided by The Purple Bytes to organizations (“the employer”) for managing their people and work. You use it because your employer gave you an account. These terms apply together with your employer's own policies and our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- Keep your password and vault master password private, and do not share your account.
- Tell your admin straight away if you think someone else used your account or a device was lost (sessions and vault devices can be revoked).
- You are responsible for what is done with your account.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use WorkforceOS to:
- access or try to access data you are not allowed to see, or get around security or monitoring settings;
- upload malware, illegal content, or content that harasses or discriminates;
- overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service;
- enter information you know is false (for example attendance or expense claims).
4. Monitoring
If your employer enables desktop monitoring, the WorkforceOS desktop agent captures screenshots and activity only while you are clocked in on that computer, after you accept the monitoring notice. Your employer is responsible for using monitoring lawfully and for telling you how it is used.
5. Data ownership
Your employer owns the data its organization puts into WorkforceOS. The Purple Bytes processes it only to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep WorkforceOS available and backed up, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We improve the service over time and may change or remove features; significant changes to these terms will be shown in the app.
7. Ending access
Your access ends when your employer deactivates your account or stops using WorkforceOS. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
8. Liability
WorkforceOS is a tool; decisions about pay, leave, attendance and employment are made by your employer. To the extent the law allows, The Purple Bytes is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. The agreement between The Purple Bytes and your employer sets out the commercial terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
