For agencies, IT firms and consultancies. Open Clients & invoices in the menu (Admins and Finance, or anyone given the invoicing area in a custom role).
- Invoice settings: add your address, PAN/VAT number, VAT (13 if you're VAT-registered, 0 if not) and how clients pay you.
- Clients: add each client with their PAN/VAT number, email and how many days they take to pay.
- New invoice or New quotation: add lines, a discount if any, and save the draft. Check it, then Issue invoice. It gets the next number of the fiscal year, like INV-2083/84-0001.
- Email to client sends the invoice in the email itself, or Print or save as PDF.
- When money arrives, Record a payment. If the client kept TDS, enter what arrived and the TDS: together they count as paid.
An issued invoice can't be changed or deleted, only cancelled, so your numbering stays in order for the tax office. A quotation turns into an invoice with one click.
Bill logged hours
On the Projects and hours tab, pick the project's client and set it to By the hour with a rate. Hours people log on its tasks wait there; Bill these hours turns them into a draft invoice, one line per task, per person or in total. Billed hours are never billed twice.

- Project profit (people who can see payroll): what you invoiced on each project against people's time and project expenses.
